In my practice ( Soft Touch Chiropractic in Porter Ranch ) I experience that many of my patients neglect to educate themselves about car insurance! Most people don't know car insurance coverage doesn't necessarily mean that passenger are covered?

The car insurances accessible to most Americans blend the worst of both worlds: high prices and low benefits. It promotes exaggerated litigation, encourages fraud, too much compensation for minor injuries, it under-compensates major injuries and it is so expensive that millions drive without insurance. 

What is Med Pay? 

Automobile  insurance protects your automobile, not the people inside of it. "Medical Payments to Others" (AKA Med Pay) covers the medical cost of all passengers in your car if they are injured in an accident.

Med Pay will cover the medical expenses resulting from an car accident, regardless of who was at fault. Only injuries caused by the accident will be covered by Med Pay and limits are usually below $25,000.
