HOW DOES ACUPUNCTURE WORK?The modern science explanation of acupuncture is that needling the acupuncture points activate the nervous system to release chemicals in the muscles, spinal cord, and brain. The classical explanation of acupuncture is that channels of energy go in regular patterns through the body and over its surface.
