Improve Your Posture 20 Seconds At a TimeAfter practicing chiropractic for 12 years in Porter Ranch, California, I have noticed that with the increase of technology, our postures are getting worse every year. Beginning with the proliferation of PCs until the present day rapid growth of smart phone users, the repetitive movements and ergonomically incorrect ways of using electronic devices are taking a toll on our postures. The constant slouching at a desk and bending of the neck contribute to a humpback spine. The constant bending of the neck while using a smart phone causes misalignments at the base of our necks. The nerve that controls our lungs and heart lives precisely where we bend our neck. As a result of the constant pressure, a person is more prone to cardiopulmonary disease. The following video shows a simple exercise that can be done anytime, any place. Not only will this exercise prevent you from developing a humpback spine, it will also relieve pressure from the nerves that go directly to your heart and lungs keeping you healthier. This exercise, however, does not replace chiropractic treatment to remove subluxations of the neck and spine. Click the Like button below.
